The JAFFA puppet team is a small, energetic group of adults and young people who love using puppets to share God’s word in a fun, creative, and memorable way.
JAFFA stands for Jesus, A Friend For ALL — and it’s true that people of every age and background seem to enjoy our colourful, joy‑filled presentations.
We bring stories to life through songs (performed to pre‑recorded tracks), sketches, and plays — many written by our own team. Over the years we’ve led full services in church, taken assemblies in schools, and shared our puppet ministry with other local congregations. We also regularly take part in seasonal services such as Nativity, Christingle, and other special celebrations throughout the year.
In the past, we were even invited to perform at the East Hampshire District celebration of the Girls’ Brigade’s 120th anniversary — a real highlight for the team.
We’re always excited to welcome new members — adults and young people in Year 7 and above. If you enjoy creativity, teamwork, and sharing God’s love in a way that makes people smile, we’d be thrilled to have you join us.
