https://www.gov.uk/guidance/new-national-restrictions-from-5-november Bitterne United Reformed Church Services are led and conducted by visiting preachers when Reverend Tessa Henry-Robinson is preaching elsewhere in Southampton East Pastorate. (Southampton East Pastorate consists of 4- URC churches, Pear Tree Green, Bitterne Park, Bitterne and Hedge End). Services are held: Every Sunday morning at 10.30 am Evening services – are no longer held Monthly mid-week service on the first Wednesday of each month 11.30 am – 12 noon – currently suspended. The Sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated on the 1st Sunday morning of each month. The morning services are more family orientated and draw an average attendance of approximately 40 adults and 8 children. With a strong Girls and Boys Brigade presence a Parade service is held on the third Sunday morning of each month except for July, August and December. Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month in the morning. We also have occasional united services with our friends from other local Churches and Songs of Praise services. It has become a tradition at Bitterne URC to conduct communion on Easter Sunday at 8.00 am followed by Easter Breakfast with another service at 10.30 am where we continue our worship and celebration of new life.
